Kim Kernodle, Attorney at Law, is a member of the State Bar of Texas. She focuses her Texas law practice in the areas of Medicaid Planning and Estate Planning, including the formation and implementation of wills and trusts, Estate Administration and Probate. She helps Veterans qualify for Veterans Administration (VA) home care benefits and coordinates her VA Planning with future Medicaid Eligibility Planning. Kim also provides Texas families with consultation regarding Wealth Transfer and Estate Planning to prevent the loss of family assets to Federal Estate Taxes.

Kim graduated with high honors from The University of Arkansas at Fayetteville with a degree in Secondary Education, emphasis in English, in 1989 and initially worked as a high school English teacher. She then attended and graduated from The University of Memphis Law School and received her law degree in 1995. From 1995 through 2001, she worked primarily in the area of bankruptcy law. Kim is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.
